Committee Mandates

Advocacy Committee
The Advocacy Committee, under the leadership of the Chair, will be responsible for all matters relating to advocacy issues at the provincial level and will include:

a) monitoring policies and proposals that impact on schizophrenia;
b) advocating on common province-wide issues;
c) addressing concerns that have been identified by people with schizophrenia and their families.

Fund Development Committee

The Fund Development Commitee, under the leadership of the Chair, will be responsible for all matters relating to ethical fundraising and other finances at the provincial level and will include:

a) to assure donors of the integrity and accountability of the Schizophrenia Society of Newfoundland and Labrador
b) to commit to fundraising practices that respect donors’ rights to truthful information and privacy.
c) to manage the funds that donors entrust in them, and to report their financial affairs accurately and completely.
